What can I learn from your school?

In Tropifame, we provide progressive learning. All entry level students will be offered Level 1. We grow each student to be a professional floral designer.

Do I need any floristry background to learn the courses?

No floristry background needed. Only a strong interest and love for flowers is required. 
If required, pre-requisite will be stated.

Does the school cater for overseas students?

Yes, all our courses are open to international students. We have special course package for international students. Please email us at tropifame@gmail.com and provide us with your course requirement and concerns. This is on case-by-case basis

I have misplace my Certificates (TFDS/WSQ curse), how do I get a replacement?

- TFDS Courses
A certificate replacement fee will be imposed.
$100 each certificate


- WSQ/SSG Courses
TFDS will not issue any replacement certificates if misplaced. However, we can issue an official letter to certify your achieved qualifications. 

*From Now 2014 onwards, only e-certs are issued for completed WSQ modules. 

Trainees can login to their SkillsFuture portal to view, print their e-Certificates.

I would like to start my own floral business. Does your school provide any assistance?

We are proud to say that some of our students have successfully open their own floral business and retail shop. We will also provide consultancy services in operating and getting resources to start your own floral business online or shop.

Will there be job attachment for me after completing the course?

Job opening notices are available at our school for references. Should trainee require job placement, do inform us upon registration.

Can you customise a course for us?

Yes, we can customise the course to suit your needs (team bonding etc). Please write in to us on your requirements to tropifame@gmail.com and we will get back to you shortly.

What is your payment modes?

At Tropifame, we only accept the following payment modes: 

1) Paynow via UEN
2) Bank Transfer

*All payments are to be tagged with name and/or Invoice No. 

Can I cancel my course?

Cancelation of course can be done min 2 weeks before course start date. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.

- Inform us 1-2 days prior to withdrawal 

- Fill in withdrawal form 




Should withdrawal request is successfully, we will inform you directly via email/whatsapp.

Refund Policy

Cancellation of WSQ Course
In the event that TFDS cancels the course run, all fees paid (including adminstrative fees) will be refunded or transfered to the next available session. 

Refund of Administrative Fee
Fees are non-refundable unless enrolled course is cancelled by school.

Withdrawal and Deferment 
To withdrawal of course, please note that withdrawal form is needed and refund amounts are as our table below:

>30 days before course start date

29-14 days before course start date

8-13 days before course start date

7-0 days before course start date

Anytime class has started

Refund Amount

100% Refund (excluding Administrative fee)

50% Refund (excluding Administrative fee)

25% Refund (excluding Administrative fee)

0% Refund (including Administrative fee)

Learner to pay the outstanding course fees (100% of course fee, excluding administrative fee)


To defer or postpone your class, please write in/inform us 5 days prior to your deferment. 
Failure which, an administrative fee of $50 will be imposed for each affected course.

Overpayment

Learners whom have overpaid for courses are to inform the school and submit the refund application form with stated details.
Failure to do so, may lead to delay of payout. 


Refund Mode

Refund will be made in corresponding amount via PayNow or Bank Transfer within 2 weeks processing period.


Make Up Session Fee
We encourage learners to follow the dates that was registered as to not affect learners learning. 
In the event that learners who did not fufil 75% attendence and/or complete assessment, make up session and assessment session are required within 60 calender days from enrolled course run end date. 

Learners can join the next avaliable session at $25/make up date.
